Mission Trips
Our church's mission is to connect with Christ and engage our community. This summer we have some great opportunities to do that as we go on mission locally and globally. This Summer, our Kids Camp will be June 17-21 (click here to register of volunteer — we need volunteers). And we are excited to announce our other mission trips this year to: Alaska, Boston, & Belize. If you are interested in taking part in one of our trips click on the appropriate link underneath each title to get started with registration for the corresponding event. We'd love to have you join us!
Alaska June 28 - July 8
➡️ https://cfbcstuart.churchcenter.com/people/forms/703284
The dates will be June 28-July 8 (11 days) and the trip will cost $1,200, which includes airfare, transportation, most meals, and lodging.
The mission of the trip is to help a local church (in Kluti-Kaah, AK) minister to the Native Alaskan population as they host a week-long conference. Our group will be taking care of 10-30 children during the evening meeting times (2 hours each night). Most of the children you will be ministering to have fetal alcohol syndrome, which means that many of the children you'll be ministering to have cognitive delays. During the day you will help with preparations of the conference and also help around the church and conference grounds (painting, chopping firewood, helping do some small projects, etc.). One of the days the group will travel to Valdez, Alaska and soak in some of the natural beauty.
Boston July 20-26

Boston is a historic city that is home to a rich and diverse collection of people. There are more than 60 colleges and universities that serve over 150,000 college students per year. Boston has 23 different neighborhoods, each with its own sense of identity and set of values. In addition, the city has a global appeal, which has led to about 29% of the population registering as foreign-born or international.
The Send Relief ministry center is located in downtown Boston at the intersection of many different human experiences. It shares a street with a university and law school and is closed in on either side by two hotels. Only 200 yards away is the famed Boston Common, which is often frequented by a large number of tourists, employees from surrounding businesses, locals from adjacent affluent Beacon Hill and Back Bay neighborhoods, and a large population of people experiencing homelessness. The ministry center sits at a crossroads and is strategically positioned to be a catalyst for ministries of mercy and compassion throughout the rest of the city.
This Boston Mission Trip functions as an opportunity to observe the initiatives and partnership activities that are happening through the ministry center, to participate in some relational ministry, and to be equipped with principles that will assist our team in participating in compassion ministries upon our return back home.
Belize July 30 - August 6

July 30-August 6 we will be taking a small team to Belize to work alongside missionaries, Blaine and Laurie, who partner with local church pastors in building new church buildings for their church. This trip requires volunteers who are willing to do manual labor and do a lot of sweating. If you are interested in joining us this summer, please sign up below and we will send you more information.
