Sunday School
"Faith comes by hearing the message..." - Romans 10:17
Unless otherwise indicated, all "Sunday School" classes (for kids and adults) meet from 9:30 - 10:30 AM.
Youth and Children
- Youth and Childrens' Sunday Schools meet each Sunday morning from 9:30 - 10:30. For specifics go to the K-5 page or the Youth Ministry page.
"Young" Adult Sunday School
-
This class began as a class for younger adults, but we've since pulled in some older couples to serve as mentors to the younger ones, and a lot of the younger ones got older (which seems to be what happens over time), so the truth is, while the average age in the class is younger than others, it's open to pretty much anyone that wants to be there. This class is led by Tim Feck and meets in Portable A from 9:30 - 10:30.
Adult Sunday School I
- This class is our most long-running class, and for good reason. It's led by one of our elders, David Sanders, and is open to adults of any age. Though the average age of the class is older than the "Young" Adult class, there are a number of younger people that call this class "Home" on Sunday mornings, so it ranges from college students to seniors citizens. The class studies the Bible book by book and verse by verse, and they do it in a way that's interactive, with lots of lively discussion.
Adult Sunday School II (11:00 - 12:00)
-
This class, led by Bryant Walker, meets during the second worship service, from 11:00 - 12:00, and it is currently focusing on the study of the end times. They are currently studying the book of Daniel to form a foundation for an upcoming study of Revelation. Anyone is invited to join in as they learn what God has planned for the coming end of the "Time of the Gentiles" and the events God's chosen people will endure during the tribulation and into the 1000 year reign of Christ on the earth before entering eternity and the New Heaven and the New Earth. You will find this to be an in-depth study with lots of time for discussion.
Sisters in Christ
-
This is a "ladies only" Bible study led by Shelia Hoadley from 9:30 - 10:30. They seek to support each other with God-centered relationships, prayer support, and an in-depth study of God's Word.
There are numerous other opportunities to be involved in Bible studies. For options that happen at times other than on Sunday morning, look under the "Ministries" tab on our home page and click on any of the Age Specific, Gender Specific, or Life Group tabs for more options.
